Q: "How do I identify Bohemian glass?"

A: "First of all, there are many kinds of Bohemian glass but I’d say that most of these manufacturers from Czech Republic have colorful glazings. Some also use lithyalin glass that has more like a ‘marble’ look.

Most products range from stained (glazed) glasses, cut and etched, and sometimes painted afterwards. Like the ones we have from Egermann Company in Nový Bor in Czechia, they have highly enameled glassware. So these are some of the identifiable features of Bohemian glass.
